Helen Margaret Thomas

Helen Margaret (Campbell) Thomas was born on March 4, 1931, and died in June of 2025. Daughter of the late J. Earl and Clista (Pruden) Campbell. Pre-deceased by siblings Earl F. Campbell (1987) and Mabel Irwin Walker (1986), grandson James D. Hopper Jr. (2004), ex-husband Frank D. Thomas, Jr. (2004), nephew Ronald G. Irwin (2022). Loving mother of Suzanne D. (William) Mann, Karen L. (Jim Payne) Birch, Frank D. Thomas III, and Patricia A. Hopper; Devoted grandmother of Joshua R. (Katie) Clemons, Adam J. Hopper, Dana N. Birch, Katherine S. (Bryan) Lucas, William J. Mann III; Great grandmother “Nana” of Riley James Clemons, Sonya Danielle Hopper and Jack Mann.  Also survived by great nephews Ronald L. Irwin and John R. Irwin and great niece Samantha (Jason) Racicot.

Mrs. Thomas retired from Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in 1994 after working 21 years as a supervisor in patient accounting.  She enjoyed outings with the seniors of Auburn Hills, reading, crossword puzzles and her cat Bella. After cremation Mrs. Thomas’ ashes will be interred at Perry Mount Cemetery joining her parents, siblings and grandson James.
