Helen E. Vinic

Helen E. Vinic; of Lake Orion; age 73; passed away November 14, 2016. Helen is the beloved wife of Joe for 53 years; loving mother of Joy Burns, Laura Vinic, Joseph Vinic and the late Dawn; dear grandmother of Craig, Kevin, Adam, Lea and Joe; and loving daughter of Bertha and the late Bernard Kantola. She is also survived by her sister Marcie Turner; brother Donald Kantola; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was preceded in death by her brother Doug Kantola and best friend Bev. Helen was a very active member of the Lake Orion Jaycees and Jaycettes for many years. She would look forward to her monthly “Card Club” gatherings which have been together since her High School days. Helen was also extremely active with her grandkids and never missed a game. She loved to be outdoors, gardening and always looked forward to the annual vacations with the family to Young State Park. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 4pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion . The family will receive friends from 2pm until the time of service.
