Henrietta Sutton

Sutton, Henrietta L.; age 88; of Lake Orion, passed away on July 11, 2026. Henrietta was the beloved daughter of the late Jake and Jean Cole. She shared a loving life with her husband, James “Jim” Sutton, who preceded her in death on October 4, 2005. She is lovingly survived by her sister, Debbie (Randy) Ihrke; her children, Terry (Wendy) Sutton and Gay (Dean) Cuddy; her grandchildren, Kurt Sutton, Lynae MacLellan, and Julia Cuddy; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Oliver MacLellan and Stevie Sutton.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Henrietta’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She and Jim were devoted members of the Lake Orion Lions Club, and Henrietta was a charter member of the Lake Orion Lioness Club. Together, they generously gave their time and helped strengthen the community they loved.

In accordance to Henrietta’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lake Orion Lions Club. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
