Henry H. Collins

May 2, 1921 — June 9, 2007

Collins, Henry H.; age 87; went home on June 9, 2007 to be with God and with his wife of 37 years, Willodene, who preceded him in death in 1998. Mr. Collins' loving daughter Rita was by his side. He is also survived by his daughter Lisa (Steven) Tinson; grandson Matthew; great-grandchildren Tabytha, Angela and Kegan; and many other beloved family members. Mr. Collins was a decorated World War II Veteran, earning a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart, as well as many other commendations. He retired from Fisher Body in 1982 after 33 years. Mr. Collins will be deeply missed by his many friends and neighbors. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
