Sawicke, Howard G. February 2, 2008 Age 68 of East Tawas formerly of Lake Orion.Loving father of Dawn (Mark) DeSantis of Brighton and Mark (Melissa) Sawicke of Royal Oak. Dear grandfather of Ashley and Jack. Brother of Gary Sawicke and Lynn Reeser. Mr. Sawicke was a much loved teacher and principal in the Lake Orion Public Schools for 34 years. He enjoyed his home in East Tawas, boating, reading and a Proud Spartan Fan. He was also a MENSA Member. Funeral service Wednesday 5pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday after 3pm with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research.
