Irma Flores

Irma Flores, age 82, of Pontiac, MI, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1942, in Laredo, Texas. Irma retired from GMC Truck & Bus and was known to all for her generosity, beautiful smile, and love for her family and friends. She loved music and being around people playing bunco and card games, checking in at the casino, and of course shopping.

She was the sixth child of the late Guadalupe Guerrero Flores and José Flores. She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony; and siblings, Mike “Miguel” (Nancy), Andres Pablo, and Andy “Pablo Andres”.

Irma is survived by her siblings, José (Gloria), Maria Vella (Rogelio), Reuben (Yolanda), and San Juana (Ray Lopez); her loving children, Alexander (Dahlia), José (Lori), John (Heather), and Eugene (Crystal); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., with Rosary Prayers to be said at 7:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 120 Lewis Street, Pontiac 48342.
