Walter, Irving M. Jr.; of Lake Orion; formerly of Palmyra, New York; age 87; July 5, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Nancy; loving father of James (Valerie) of Traverse City, John of Oxford, Gerald (Angela) of N.C., Bruce (Susan) of Lake Orion, Theresa Cosentino of Oxford, Thomas of MA, Timothy of Oxford and the late Kathleen Marie and Kenneth; step father of Jeffrey (Karen) Eggert, Mike (Mary Ann) Eggert and the late Gary Eggert; grandfather of 16; great grandfather of 26; step grandfather of ; and brother of William "Jim" (Sally) Walter. Mr. Walter retired from Genesee County Hospital in New York and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 12 noon with Rev. Richard Beattie officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service.
