Isabel Cunningham Harper

Isabel Cunningham (Splatt) Harper, age 96, formerly of Oxford, Michigan, passed away at home on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  She was born in Grangemouth, Scotland, having come over on the ship to America with her family when she was 3.

She was a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelors in nursing.  She worked in public health at Oakland University, then later in her career at Santa Barbara Public health department, where she pioneered the well mother baby program.

She loved golf, competition bridge, needlepoint, knitting, and travel.

But most of all she loved her family.  Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She lived through good times and bad, always there for her family.   Rest in peace, dear Isabel, we will miss you sorely.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Carroll Harper, daughter Karen Harper, son David Harper.  Also siblings Janet Splatt, David Splatt, John Splatt, Elizabeth Ilg, Irene Splatt, Thomas Splatt.

Survived by daughter Robin Harper Bobek (Pat), son Scott Harper, grandchildren Patrick (Stephanie) Bobek, Stephen Bobek, Jake Harper, Savannah Harper, great grandchildren Lily and Abigail Bobek.
