Isabelle Pomponi

Isabelle Pomponi; age 73; died peacefully on May 29, 2017 at home in Lake Orion. Isabelle was born September 29, 1942 in Manhattan, New York, and in 1962 she married the love of her life Robert Pomponi.  For years she managed and worked at Pomponi’s Hair Shop in Rochester.  Isabelle will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Robert Pomponi; son Robert Pomponi; daughters, Rachelle Stephens (Howard) and Renee Seibert (Ken); and five grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Patti Bennett; aunt Rita D’Haene; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister Ellen O’Connell.  Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion on Sunday from 2-8pm with Rosary Prayers at 7pm.  Interment Guardian Angel Cemetery, Oakland Township.  Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
