Ivan Martinez

Ivan Martinez, Jr. aka “Juny”; age 56; passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017. He was born March 19, 1961, in Pontiac, Michigan to Ivan F. and Catalina B. Martinez. For many years, Ivan dealt with Multiple Sclerosis, but it did not stop him from reaching out to people in a positive way and he would always say, “I’m okay”. Ivan accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on February 14, 2013, and was baptized on March 19, 2015.  Ivan was a member of the First Spanish American Baptist Church. Ivan joins his mother, Catalina B. Martinez; and his sister, Haydee M. Krepps. He is survived by his father, Ivan F. Martinez; brother, William (Minerva) Martinez; sister, Magdalena (Alberto) Martinez; brother-in-law, Anthony Krepps; and many nieces; nephews; uncles; aunts; and cousins. Family, friends, nurses, members of the church, and others whose lives Ivan touched are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12noon at the First Spanish American Baptist Church, Pontiac . Ivan was interred alongside his beloved mother, Catalina.
