Jack Traver

September 6, 1931 — March 22, 2012

Jack Traver; age 80; passed away March 22, 2012 after a long illness in Michigan. Jack lived in Florida for many years with his beloved wife Jean of 55 years who preceded him in death. Jack and Jean also lived in Lake Orion for a number of years and owned two restaurants, one in Oxford and Jean's Coney in Orion Township. Jack is survived by his brothers Raymond (Doris) Traver and Dennis (Starr) Hamacher; and sisters Phyllis (Howard) Helm, Betty Ewald, Barbara Chappell, Janet (Leo) Hiatt, Karen Shell and Twila (Joe) Csokas. He was preceded in death by his sisters Norma Simmons and Carol Ralph. Jack is also survived by his 56 nieces and nephews and he will be greatly missed by all. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills.
