ABRAHAM, JAMES ALVIN. February 14, 2010 Age 71 of Lake Orion. Loving husband of Lynn(DeClerck) Abraham for 35 years. Proud father of Erik who was the light of his life. Survived by Brothers-in-law :Albert, Alan(Erika), David(Anne), Michael and James DeClerck, and sister-in-law Diane(Jerry) Leitch. Also survived by several cousins and 13 nieces and nephews. Mr. Abraham was born in Bessemer, MI on Dec 22, 1938. He was raised in Southfield, and he retired from General Motors/Delphi in Labor Relations. More than anything, he loved being with his family and his dogs; Snickers and Tootsie. James was proud of his 1947 Ford Coupe and his big red truck. He enjoyed many friends, his train collection, camping, boating, sports and the simple pleasures of life. Member of NSRA, T.T.O.S., Moslem Shriners and the Masons Lake Orion Lodge 46 F & AM. Memorial service Tuesday 11 am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (2700 Waldon Rd. Orion) with Father Joe Dailey officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday 9:30 am until time of service at church. Memorial Visitation will be Monday 5-9pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (111 E. Flint St.).
