HAMILTON, JAMES February 29, 2008 Age 88 of Lake Orion. Loving Husband of Joan(Clarke) for 62 years. Preceded in death by parents; Elizabeth and Thomas Hamilton and sister; Isabella Liddell. Father of Heather and James (Carla Nierman) Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years as a Process Engineer. He was a Veteran of The United States Army Air Force having served during WWII. He flew over 50 missions before crashing; he was the only survivor of the crew. Memorial service Saturday, March 8, 2008 11 am @ St. Mary's in the Hills Episcopal Church (2512 Joslyn Ct. Lake Orion). Cremains to be interred in the Memorial Garden @ St. Mary's in the Hills. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Leader Dog for the Blind, St Mary's in the Hills or Michigan Opera Theater.
