James E. Mcbryde

James Edward McBryde; born January 18, 1941; in Lansing, Michigan; dear son of the late Patrick Edward McBryde and the late Lualta Mae McBryde; passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Metamora at age 82.

James was quite the storyteller, had a witty sense of humor and loved conversations with family and friends. He enjoyed restoring Corvettes, working crossword puzzles, tracing the McBryde Genealogy, and running Laingsburg Manor Adult Foster Care Home with his loving wife, Sharon.

James was preceded in his death by his wife of 51 years, Sharon; and siblings, Marlene (Gerald) Medler, and Connie (Pal) Meeks.  He is survived by his children, Shawn (Brenda) McBryde, Colleen McBryde, Shane McBryde, Michael Danford and Michelle Danford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Sara (Robert) Peacock; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a celebration of life on a future date.
