James Richard Pearson, "J.P." February 10, 1976 - December 21, 2008. J.P. is the beloved son of Peggy Lynn Pearson and Jimmie D. Pearson. He also survived by his stepmother Regina Lynn Pearson; two sisters, Julie Lynn Pearson and Aimee E.D. Kendrick; five nieces, Ebony, Markesha, Areéal ,Tiara and Asia; two nephews, Marc and Julian "Buddy"; grandparents, Franklin Gould, and Donald and Wilma Ronzani; three aunts, Dianne and Donna Lee Ronzani and Susan Ronzani Clark; and four cousins, Johnathon, Justin, Austin and Heather. J.P. was preceded in death by his grandparents Muriel Gould and Homer Pearson. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Shrine Parish of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pontiac. The family will receive friends at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary prayers at 7:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery.
