Jan Elizabeth Ishmael

Ishmael, Jan Elizabeth; resident of Lake Orion; died peacefully April 15, 2014 at the age of 66. Survived by her beloved husband, Gary Ishmael; her loving children Brian and Laura, Bob and Jennifer; and treasured grandchildren Catherine, Andrew, Emily, Tyler, and Charlotte. She also leaves behind her brother, Don Glosser and many dear friends and family. Jan was a long time member of Lake Orion Methodist Church. She was deeply involved in the music ministry of the church. She had a beautiful marriage and loved spending time with her family. She had a true passion for piano playing and all genres of music. Jan's light shone for all to see and love. She had a sparkle in her eye that was undeniable. She will be truly missed on this earth and is now our spectacular angel up above. Visitation at Sparks Griffin Funeral Home, 111 E. Flint St., Lake Orion on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2:30-4 and 5-8 p.m. Funeral will be at 11 a.m Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Lake Orion Methodist Church, 140 E. Flint St, Lake Orion.
