Janet L. Brown; December 10, 2010; of Pontiac; age 71. Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Brown for 50 years; Loving mother of Donna (Ishmael) McQueen, Ruthann (Gene) Thayer, Kevin (Kelly) Brown, Donald (Michele) Brown Jr., and Elaine Marie Hoffman; grandmother of ten; and great grandmother of three. Janet was preceded in death by her sisters Jackie and Joyce and her brother Jim; Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Wilbanks officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
