Janice Ann Binkowski

Janice Ann Binkowski; of Oakland; age 83; passed away on December 12, 2021.  Janice is the beloved wife of the late Martin G. Binkowski Sr.; loving mother of Martin G. Binkowski Jr. and John Binkowski; loving grandmother of Joe (Carrie) Sowers; and dear sister of Michael (Nancy) Shayna and Carol (Steve) Zultowlski.  Janice was preceded in death by her children Annie Sowers and Timothy Binkowski, and her brother James (Carol) Shayna.  Janice grew up on a farm and then in 1958 she met her husband Martin in Hamtramck, Michigan where they began their life together.  She was very devoted to her family.  She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and loved the word of God.  She also loved to go fishing, working in her garden planting flowers and vegetables, and picking blackberries.  Janice was always a happy go lucky person with a positive attitude and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  A memorial service will be held at a future date.
