Jay "Jayson" Zeeman

Jay “Jayson” Zeeman; of Lake Orion; age 47; passed away on October 14, 2023.  Jayson is the beloved son of Michele and Edward Corneail; loving partner of Albert “Joey” Kraenzlein; and dear brother of Aaron (Michelle) Corneail and Kristin Peace.  He is also survived by his stepsons, Aidan and Landon; and his 3 nieces and 3 nephews.  Jay was received in Heaven by grandparents Lila and Jack Flanagan and many other dear family members.  Before recently returning to Michigan, where he grew up and went to school, Jayson worked as brilliant chef in New York and Boston where he owned Z-Rant restaurant for many years.  Jay was dearly loved by all that knew him, and he will be missed by his many family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 2pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1pm until the time of service.  Donations may be made in Jay’s memory to the Trevor Project .
