WALTER, JEAN M. a resident of Lake Orion for 60 years, died December 18, 2008, at the age of 88.Beloved husband of Norma for 67 years.Dear father of Norma (Darold) Luettke of Clarkston, Linda (Raymond) Swain of Kinde, Mi., Eilene Walter of Florida, and Trisha Walter of Flint. Loving Grandfather of 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Mr. Walter was a U.S. Army veteran of WW 2, and was retired from Pontiac Motor. He was a member of Lake Orion Masonic Lodge #46, Knights Templar, Council of Commandery O.E.S., and the U.A.W. 653.Funeral services Tuesday December 23rd at 2:00 pm. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:00 pm. Monday, with suggested visiting hours of 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm. Masonic memorial services Monday 7:00 pm.
