Jeanette Redmond

December 4, 1934 — January 4, 2020

Jeanette Biennville Redmond (formerly Peggy Jeanette Milton) answered the Lord’s call to leave this earthly existence on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the age of 85.  She leaves to cherish her legacy daughters Norma Jane Pecelunas of Seattle, WA; Rosalyn Redmond of Pontiac, MI and Marcia Elaine Redmond-Johnson of North Branch, Michigan who was her special caregiver for 10 years.  Sons Reuben B. Redmond of Yuma, AZ and Keith W. Redmond of Houston, TX; Son-in-law and Caregiver Lyndon B. Johnson of North Branch, MI and special son and caregiver Truvoy F. Craft I of Pontiac, MI. Grandsons Stanislaus (Tawanna) Caldwell of Boilingbrook, IL; Milton B. Carthens, Jr of Pontiac, MI; Keith (Carolina) Redmond I of Houston, TX;  Kurtis (Nicole) Redmond of Ypsilanti, MI; David & Chris Pecelunas of Seattle, WA and Truvoy F. Craft II of North Branch, MI. Granddaughters Sabrina (Kevin) Castellano of Tacoma, WA; Rana (Thomas) Tyarks of Yuma, AZ; RoAn Astin Redmond of Auburn Hills, MI; Biennville (Kyle) Wade of Davisburg, MI; Stephanie Renee (Zarona) Caldwell of Houston, TX; Rasheda Redmond of Las Vegas, NV; Unique Raine-Pecelunas of Seattle, WA and Kimberly Rolle of Dortmund, Germany.  Great-Grandsons Devince Jamerson and King Castellano of Tacoma, WA; DayVon Redmond of Auburn Hills, MI; Dominick Gray of Waterford, MI; Tristan and Torian Caldwell of Boilingbrook, IL; Jagger Marley Carthens of Pontiac, MI;  Juvilino Gonsalves and Jaden Tyarks of Yuma, AZ; Ethan and Ian Wade of Davisburg, MI and Jamison and Justus Garner of Loganville, GA. Great-granddaughters Serenity Diericks and Harmonee Carthens of Davisburg, MI; Jersey and Jayce Carthens of Pontiac, MI; LaKayla Redmond of Auburn Hills, MI; Karina, Katalina and Kelaya Redmond of Houston, TX; Bleu Castellano and Katharine Jamerson of Tacoma, WA; Ivory Redmond and Nevaeh Tyarks of Yuma, AZ.  She also leaves behind her brother Oliver Milton of Detroit, sisters Francis Milton of Redford, Elizabeth Joanie Mitchell of Las Vegas, NV and Sister-in-law Carole Milton of Pontiac, MI.  Nephews Kandia (Lisa) Milton; Dedan (Niccole) Milton, Andre Milton, Julius (Michelle) Sawyer, Jonathon and David Radford.  Nieces Rochelle Glazier Walk, Marlene Glazier,  Tia (Keith) Richardson, Bon Powell and Dianna Sawyer.  Jeanette was predeceased by her dear daughter Julia Denise Redmond-Caldwell, father Bonnie Milton, mother Marjorie Davenport, stepmother Julia Milton, sisters Marilyn Sawyer and Etta Jean Radford and brother Bonnie “Bucky” Milton.  Jeanette had so many loved ones and friends that it would take volumes to list.  Jeanette was skilled at any and everything she put her mind to.  She was a seamstress—making wedding dresses and her children’s clothing, artist, jewelry maker, pianist, knitter, crochetier, a baker who made beautiful wedding cakes with ease, a ceramic enthusiast and retired as a Unit Secretary from St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in the late 90’s. Jeanette was a friend to all she met, a lover of animals and the dearest of mothers, friends or mere acquaintances.  Jeanette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS).  There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Perry Mount Park Cemetery on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
