Jeannene L. McDaniel, nee Sheppard; September 21, 2022. Jeannene was the beloved widow of Robert E. McDaniel; loving mother of Char (Martin) Everett Stoops, Craig Everett and Leigh (Milton) Opie; proceeded in death by dear brother, D.T. Sheppard Jr; dear sister of Barbara Ensworth; dear grandmother "Grammy" of Melissa (Thomas) Purves, Tracy (James) Tackett-Helzer and Aaron (Shea) Everett; dear great grandmother "Grammy" of Thomas Purves Jr., Allie Purves, Alexander Helzer and Ash Everett; and dear aunt of Sally (Tony) Lobaza, Mark (Leisa) and Todd Ensworth; dear great aunt of Kate (Ryan) Gruber, Liz Lobaza and Bradley and Jeffrey Ensworth. She retired as a real estate agent; was previously employed by Ralph Manual Associates, Birmingham and Community National Bank, Pontiac, payroll department. She was a talented piano aficionado and entertained many with her wonderful displays of "play by ear/no music needed" offerings - wherever they asked her to sit at their piano, be it the BPOE Elks #810, in Pontiac and Waterford or Rips eatery on a lively Friday evening. Her family will never forget our many Christmas carol sing-along's, with all gathered around her baby grand piano! She is much loved and will forever be missed!
Interment will be scheduled for a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, where she will rejoin her beloved husband, Robert. They so enjoyed traveling together - now their sunny road trip will continue for eternity!
