Tallman, Jeffery G.; of Oxford; age 48; January 8, 2008. Beloved husband of Heather (McCormick) Tallman; father of Jeffery Alan; loving son of Elzada Travis Tallman Ericksen; and dear brother of Greg Tallman, Dudley Ericksen and Mike Ericksen. Jeffery is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Jeffery graduated from St. Louis High School and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Processing and an Associate of Science in Industrial Electronics from Ferris State University. He also studied Electrical Engineering at the Ohio Institute of Technology. Jeffery was a dedicated self-starter with a commitment to excellence. He was happiest when challenged by the job, the "cannot be done" "the ones that fight back".. and "impossible" projects were his greatest source of professional satisfaction. Jeffery developed the Audience Response System from theory to reality, which allowed active audience participation in group meetings via electronic handsets. He was a race car enthusiast who will ways be remembered for helping others. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
