Jesusa Alvarado; of Pontiac; passed away June 16, 2009 at the age of 89. Jesusa was preceded in death by her husband Juan and son Ruben. She is survived by her daughters Rosa (Albert) Vasquez, Olga Guerrero and Mary Alvarado; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 23 great great grandchildren; and sister Herlinda Tenorio. Jesusa was also preceded in death by her brothers Valenior, Jose and Isidor; and sisters Santos and Juanita. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Pontiac. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Rosary prayers at 7:30 p.m. Interment Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
