Jo Ann Margaret Archer

Jo Ann Margaret Archer; of Lake Orion; age 64; passed away on September 4, 2020.  Jo Ann is the loving daughter of the late Thomas Lowe; loving mother of Jeffery Parrish, loving mother in law of Sarah Parrish; loving grandmother of Anna Alexis Parrish; loving sister of Jerry Kirts, Jack McDonald, Janice Laidler and the late James Kirts.  She is also the lifelong best friend of Robin Lillich-Phillips.  Jo Ann adored her family more than anything, especially her granddaughter Anna and her son Jeff.  She carried on her father's tradition and created a beautiful yard with flowers and hummingbirds everywhere.  She had a passion for gardening and was so proud when her roses were in bloom. She also dearly loved her cat Smokey.  Jo Ann enjoyed going to the casino and playing slots, fishing, and going to J. Geils Band and Bob Seger concerts.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.   The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  Social distancing is suggested, masks are required for those attending, and groups of 10 will be permitted at a time.  Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1pm at Eastlawn Cemetery, Lake Orion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a hospice organization of your choice.
