Joe Larry Bannister

Bannister, Joe L.;of Clarkston; born January 21, 1949; in Anderson, South Carolina; died March 3, 2013; at the age 64. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, parents Helen and Joe Bannister, Aunt Grace, Uncle Jack, three brothers, Clayton, William and Jackie, three nephews Eddy, Ronnie and Robert Jr. He is survived by two brothers Robert (Betty) Bannister, Steve (Theresa) Bannister, one sister Grace (Don) Burton and a son Nevin Supal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. Joe retired from General Motors. He was also former owner of Sparkys Coney and Grill in Pontiac. Joe will be missed and loved by his family and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
