Joe Gonzales

Joe Gonzalez; age 90; passed away October 2, 2014. Loving father Pam Peters (Robert), Vincent(Karen), Patrick and Paul (Debra) and the late Richard Gonzalez. Grandchildren Sarah, Robert, Anne, Sydney, Tina, Tara, and great Granddaughters River, Daniella, Julianna, and Izabella. Brother Ruben (Marion) and sisters Sarah Maladio, Irene Florez, Connie (Ralph) Diaz, Honey Rodriguez, and Aletha Simpson, and Tony Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his sisters Elva Gonzalez, Rose Aganaga, and Ester Diaz. Joe was a proud WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corp, retired from General Motors after thirty eight years and was a big Tigers fan. Attended Wayne State University and loved working in his garage. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sparks - Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
