John David Carper

John “The Bull” David Carper; of Pontiac, Michigan; was born on April 8, 1964, and passed away on December 30, 2022. John is the beloved husband of Elvita Carper; the adoring brother of Veronica (Ron) Carl and Bill Ezell; the loving grandfather of Elisa, Jacob, and Briana; brother-in-law of Dave & Mary French, Rose & John Mabery, and Johnie (Dawn) Rodriguez; nephew of Rosalie and Chuck; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanna Labarge; grandfather, James Hopkins; niece Anita Labarge; daughter, Nicole; step-daughter Robin Rodriguez-Crites; grandson Dominick Rodriguez; sister–in–law Connie Neidrick; and his beloved dogs Rufus and Diamond. John loved gardening, cooking, having family picnics, and playing video games. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
