John Eric Pennala

John Eric Pennala; of Lake Orion; age 84; passed away January 16, 2021.  John is the beloved husband of Doris Ann Pennala for 64 years; loving father of Jeffrey (Marie) Pennala, Mary (Terrance) Filarecki, Julie (John) Perry, William (Kim) Pennala and Margaret Pennala; dear grandfather of Charles Ingoglia, Robert Filarecki and Eric Smith; great grandfather of Kendra Doris Ingoglia and Ripley Rose Jones; and brother of Bruce (Jackie) Pennala.  John was a very devoted family man who enjoyed being with his family more than anything.  He was a true reader who read everything, he was especially interested in history and science.  John was a very intelligent man and enjoyed having various hobbies that he was working on throughout his life.  The love and care that he gave to his family and friends will always be remembered.  He will be dearly missed.  A private family service will be held.
