John Edward Hubbard

August 1, 1924 — June 16, 2006

Hubbard, John Edward; June 16, 2006; of Bloomfield Hills; age 81. Beloved husband of Carolyn Hubbard for 49 years and loving father to Mary (Michael) Kennedy and Mark (Linda) Hubbard. Grandfather of Matthew and Brian Hubbard and Daniel and Andrew Kennedy. John leaves behind one brother Bruce Hubbard and one sister Margaret Isgrigg. John was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Charles and Anne (Fildew) Hubbard. After graduation from Pontiac High School in 1942, John served in the US Army during WWII. After the service John finished his schooling at the University of Michigan with degrees in Engineering and Law. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2006 11:00 a.m. from All Saints Episcopal Church of Pontiac. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church of Pontiac, Michigan in memory of John E. Hubbard. Arrangement entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
