John Matthew Powers, "Jethro"; of Pontiac. John was born on February 8, 1968 and passed away on June 18, 2009. Beloved son of Evelyn F. Powers and the late Vernor P. Powers. He is survived by his brothers, Rickey (Donna) Powers, Michael Powers and Tracy (Shelly) Powers; and sisters Katherine (Tom) Hall, Vickie (Tom) Davis and Susan Cook. John is also survived by his fiancée Crystal Miller and son, and many nieces, nephews and great nephews. John loved us all - family and friends. Remembrance to be shared at the home of his mom, 49 W. New York Ave., Pontiac, 48340 between the hours of 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2009. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin funeral Home.
