Thomas, John D. (Stoneface, JD); April 2, 2008; of Pontiac; age 58. Beloved husband of Doris Marie Thomas for 28 years; dear father of Jermaine and Damon Brown of Washington State, Edward Stewart of Pontiac, John III of Colorado and Jazmine Thomas of Pontiac; and stepfather of Anthony Hicks of Pontiac and Carmellia and Darrell King of Lansing. John was preceded in death by his late parents Barbara and JD Thomas and his brothers Gregory and Craig. John is survived by his brothers and sisters; Joyce Miller, Roxanne (Calvin) Brinker, Maurice (Judy) Thomas, Dorcie Thomas, Chad (Sue) Thomas and Toddy (Joyce) Thomas; and is the brother-in-law of Carmellia Ferrell and Barbara (Willie) Quinn. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, a host of other loving family and friends, and special friends Ann Riley and Cynthia Franks. John retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Pontiac Nightriders MC and the Southside Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Garth Gabriel and Pastor Keynel Cadet officiating.
