Johnnie Bell Etchen ; age 82; of Pontiac; passed away Friday, October 31, 2008; at her residence. Daughter of the late David and Alice Alexander; devoted mother of Katherine (Clifford) Glover of Novi; and Dorothy Simmons, Ora (Melvin) Boothe, and Elizabeth (Ricky) Warren, all of Pontiac. Preceded in death by John Jr., Willie James, David, Eddie and Alfred. Also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida, Pontiac. Family hour 11:00 A.M. Reverend Douglas P. Jones officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Reflections may be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com
