Johnny Molina; of Pontiac; born December 1, 1948; passed away November 21, 2006 at the age 57. Husband of Penny Molina; son of the late Francisco Molina, late Nellie Berlanga and Domingo Berlanga; step father of Jennifer, James Henry and Daniel Sawyer; father of Angela, Ritter, Chris Molina, Johnny Molina and Candy Little; grandfather of six; brother of Frank Molina of Texas, Marina of Pontiac and David, Sonny and Hope Berlanga, all of Flint. He is also survived by many more relatives. Johnny leaves behind his golfing buddies and many friends that over the years have become his family. He served in the Marines from 1968-1970 and again from 1972-1974. Johnny scored his first hole in one, playing golf at Camp Lejeune on March 27, 1974. Johnny was employed at General Motors for 32 years. He started at Fisher Body, went to the Flint V-8 Plant and then retired from Pontiac SPO. His presence will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
