Jonathon P. Jenkins

Jonathon P. Jenkins; of Lake Orion; age 20; December 13, 2011. Jonathon is the beloved son of Perry and Stephanie; the loving brother of Megan, Marinda, Joshua, Jared, Melissa and Madison; and the dear grandson of Robert and Louanne Jenkins of Swartz Creek, Terry and Peggy Miller of Oxford and the late Marjorie Jenkins. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jonathon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion and graduated from the Lake Orion Baptist School. He enjoyed playing his violin in the church orchestra and singing in the church choir. He also spent his time playing guitar, playing basketball and working with the Awana Club children's program. Jonathon had a passion for computers and was studying to earn his technology degree from Oakland Community College. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion, 255 E. Scripps Rd. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Square Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
