Jose "Tony" Cruz-Mora

Jose Antonio Cruz-Mora; known to family and friends as “Tio Tony”; age 70; went to be the Lord on May 4, 2020. Tony lived in New York but moved to Pontiac, Michigan to be with his sister in 2006. He was born on May 23, 1949 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Victoriano Cruz and Amada Mora. Tony is survived by his sister, Carmen (Santos) Torres; and even though he never had children of his own, he had so much love and care for Lilian “Lily” and Cristina “Tina” from Florida; and his nephews and nieces, Santos “Bimbi” Torres-Figueroa, Victor M. (Marilyn) Torres, Santos Torres Jr., Sugey (Orlando) Soler, Jaqueline Torres and Cristian Torres. He attended Liberty Church were he fellowshipped and will be missed by his Pastor Buddy Frantz and members. With respect to the ongoing restrictions, a private family gathering will take place at Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
