Joseph E. Chisholm; age 74; passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2026.

Joe was born on July 19, 1952, at Royal Oak General Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Wallace and Norma Chisholm. He graduated from Troy High School in 1970 and went on to establish his own business with his brother Michael, M.J. Chisholm Cement and Masonry.

An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved riding quads and snowmobiles. But above all else, Joe absolutely adored his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending quality time with the people he loved, and to many, he was affectionately known as "Uncle Joe" - a title he carried with warmth, humor, and pride. Joe had an extraordinary way of making everyone who walked through his door feel like they truly belonged and were part of the family.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Powers Chisholm; his daughter, Margo (Vincent) Peluso; and his cherished grandchildren, Dominick and Madeline. He is also survived by his siblings: Sally (David) Schmidt, Fannie (Greg) Blaski, and Malcolm (Kathleen) Chisholm. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael (Linda) Chisholm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM at The Clarkston Eagles, located at 5640 Maybee Rd, Clarkston, MI 48346.
