GARRETT, JOSEPHINE "Jo" born to Ira January 14, 1899 and Carrie (McCalister) Watson April 30, 1900. Jo was preceded in death by her late husband Robert and daughter Myra Spizizen. Josephine passed into her loving savior's arms on December 31, 2011. She is survived by her three children Robert "Bob" Garrett, Betty (the late Vincent) Alisouskas of Mesa, Arizona and Ron (Chris) Garrett of Dryden, Michigan; her twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Jo is also survived by her one brother, Kenneth (JoAnn) Watson of Brighton, Michigan and two sisters Helen (the late Earl) Beason of Pontiac, Michigan and Audrey (the late Bill) Atkins of Greenville, Tennessee. Jo was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur Eugene Watson of Waterford, Michigan and Jim "Edwin" Watson of South Carolina. Jo was a dedicated nurse for 32 years at Pontiac General Hospital and enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and her family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday with suggested visiting hours from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be appreciated to the Arthritic Foundation or Mercy Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
