Josetta W. Leszczynski

Josetta W. Leszczynski; of Clarkston; age 96; passed away July 16, 2016. Josetta was the beloved wife of the late Edward, with whom she spent 50 years of marriage.  She is the loving mother of Geralyn (Gary) Street, Carolyn (Buck) Purchase, Veronica (Bob) Henderson, Monica (Ron) Stencel, Eric (Lisa) Leszczynski and Lisa (Scott) Blackwell; dear grandmother of Geralyn, David, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Ian, Ronald, Evan, Mitchell, Hank, Hannah, Sophia, Cindy, Nickolas, Jordan, Josef and Brianna; and special great grandmother of Kaydence, Hailey, Dylan and William.  Josetta is also the dear sister of Jerome Goeddeke and the late John, Marie Marburger, Paul, Robert and Joe.  Josetta was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.  She enjoyed water aerobics, crossword puzzles, playing the guitar and was known to be quite the sharp shooter.  But more than anything, Josetta will always be remembered for how prayer was such a big part of her faithfilled life.  Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion with Rosary Prayers to begin at 7pm.  Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.  Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the Capuchin Monastery.
