Juan "John" Ismael Colon

Juan “John” Ismael Colon; of Troy; age 85; passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2019. John is survived by his beloved wife Betty; children, Minerva (Willie), Jorge, Nilda, Arleen (Jimi), Chuck (Donna) and Gordon; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mina (Samuel), Yin (the late Domingo), the late Israel (Benita), the late Rafael, Jaime (Miriam) and Victor (Michelle); his ex-wife Ciany; and many nieces and nephews who loved him and were as close to him as his own kids. John was retired from GM after many years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who touched many lives with his generosity. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3pm until the time of service and will conclude at 8pm following the services
