Juan "Johnie" Rodriguez

Juan “Johnie” Rodriguez; age 67; of Pontiac, MI; passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2023. Juan leaves behind to cherish in his memory his beloved wife Dawn; dearest brother of Mary & David French, Elvita Carper, and Rose and Jon Mabery; his son Justin Miller; many nieces and nephews; his beloved dogs Princess, Chula and Jackson; and many other cherished family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Cruz and Mrtyle Rodriguez; brother, Jose “Chot”; and sister, Connie. Johnie loved to fish, garden, watch sports, play the lottery, cook, and go to family gatherings.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Johnie's memory can be made to the McLaren Oakland Foundation .

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. The family will also be holding a Celebration of Life for Johnie on September 2, 2023, starting at 2:00 p.m. at his home.
