Juana Mendoza Reyes

Juana "Juanita" Mendoza Reyes passed away on February 7, 2024. She leaves behind her husband, Joaquin Torres; and her 3 children, Esmeralda, Maribel, and Eduardo Torres. Juanita was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family unconditionally. She loved spending time with her family and cooking. Juanita will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Church.

Juanita wanted her final resting place to be in her origin, "La Palmita," in Durango, Mexico. Arrangements for that are pending at this time.

Juana "Juanita" Mendoza Reyes falleció el 7 de febrero de 2024. Deja atrás a su esposo, Joaquín Torres; y sus 3 hijos, Esmeralda, Maribel y Eduardo Torres. Juanita era una madre y esposa devota y amaba incondicionalmente a su familia. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y cocinar. Su familia y amigos extrañarán profundamente a Juanita.

La familia recibirá visitas de amigos el jueves 15 de febrero de 2024, de 3:00 a 7:00 p. m. en Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre el viernes 16 de febrero de 2024 a las 10:00 am en la Parroquia San Damián de Molokai - Iglesia San Vicente de Paúl.

Juanita quería que su lugar de descanso final fuera su origen, "La Palmita", en Durango, México. Los arreglos para eso están pendientes en este momento.
