Juanita Ana Jimenez

Jimenez, Juanita A.; of Auburn Hills. Entered eternal life on December 31, 2012; age 59. Daughter of the late Filiberto and Eulalia (Placencia) Jimenez. Dear sister of Ralph (Judy), Luis (Vicky), Maria, Ricardo (Tina), Bequi, Jose, Ester and the late Jesus; loving and caring aunt of fifteen nieces and nephews; 24 great nieces and nephews; great-great niece and nephew; and special aunt and godmother to Matthew. Juanita recently retired from Doctor's Hospital of Michigan after 37 years of service. In her youth she was very active and enjoyed bowling, basketball, and baseball. She was very artistic and loved crafts, decorating and cooking. She also enjoyed the outdoors, going deer hunting and her trips to the casino. Juanita had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. She was always helping those around her. To honor her giving spirit the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church (St. Damien of Molokai Parish)viewing will be available at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, 46 Williams Street. Rosary prayers will begin at 6:30 p.m.
