Juanita Pena

Juanita Pena; age 89; of Pontiac; passed away on April 4, 2021.  Juanita was born on January 17, 1932 to Felipe Diaz Hernandez and Teresa Cedillo Juarez in Tampico, Mexico.  Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them.

Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Rodolfo Jr (Patricia), Reymundo (Tammy), Rene (Imelda), Melinda (Kym) and Jaime (Melissa); her siblings, Catalina, Teodoro and Pedro.

She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Rodolfo III (Maria), Michelle (Eric), Rocky, Neela (Kevin), Melissa, Monica, Nina, Jena, Breanna, Brandon, Delena, Isabella and Carlos.  She was also the beloved grandmother of 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She was the dear aunt of a host of nieces and nephews.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rodolfo Pena Sr, son Rigoberto, sister Socorro, daughter in law Patricia and granddaughter Alyssa.

Juanita’s family will receive visitors at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home Pontiac Chapel on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm.  Social distancing and masks are mandatory.
