Juanita Sanchez

Juanita (Castro) Sanchez; of Orion Twp.; age 91; born March 30, 1931, in New Braunfels, Texas to parents Melchor and Ramona (Sandoval) Castro.  She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on May 19, 2022.  Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Sanchez Sr. and granddaughter Angelica Tatum.  She is survived by daughters Isabel Young, Lydia (Marty) Tatum, sons, Ramon Sanchez Jr. and Mario (Romona) Sanchez, and daughter Maria (Chris) Drenski; granddaughters, Chelsea and Rachel Young, Juliana and Priscilla Sanchez, and Mikayla, Shayna Benbow; great grandchildren Xander and Alice Beck; as well as her beloved brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Juanita was a devout Catholic and made sure to instill those beliefs into her family.  She will be remembered for her passion for gardening.  Funeral services will be on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11am held at Christ the Redeemer, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion.  The family will receive family and friends at church from 10am until the time of service.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
