Judith A. "Judy" Bergstrom; age 69; of Pontiac; passed away on February 22, 2015. Judy was a loving and caring wife to Bruce for 47 years and the mother of 2 sons, Jeff and Tom. Although she biologically had only 2 children, she was a Mother to many others. Judy was lovingly referred to as Aunt Judy, Ma B, Momma B and Mom Bergstrom by her family and many of her son's friends and acquaintances. Judy took an active role in all of her son's activities and hobbies growing up. This included camping, scouting, boating, band classes, marching band and even trail riding three wheelers (including herself) in northern Michigan where she spent most of her summers. Upon retirement from working as a media assistant for 30+ years in the Pontiac School District, Judy and Bruce would spend their entire summer camping at Yogi Bears Jellystone Park in Grayling, Michigan where she enjoyed her crafts and Bruce's cooking. Recently she was finally able to realize a lifelong dream of owning a large Class A motorhome and taking a 2 week long road trip with Bruce through the Upper Peninsula and all the way to Green Bay, Wisconsin and back. Whether you knew her as Judy, Mom, Ma B, Momma B, Aunt Judy or Mom Bergstrom, her passing will leave many friends with empty hearts and great memories of the time they had with her. Judy and her late son Jeff will be watching over their family and friends for years to come. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. Interment Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi; MI. Reflections may be shared by visiting www. sparksgriffin.com
