Julia L. Lawrence; age 82; of Pontiac; departed this life on June 8, 2010. She was the wife of the late Jessie Lawrence, sister of Ester Buford Hood and Henry Edwards; sister - in-law of Johnnie L. Carter and Henry Brooks. Julia was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where Homegoing Services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 12:00 p.m., with Family Hour from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pastor Billy Allen officiating. Viewing will be Sunday at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks - Griffin Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
