Karen Ann Robinson

May 2, 1943 — November 4, 2022

Karen A. Robinson went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2022.   She was 79 years old.  Karen was born in Oxford, Michigan on May 2, 1943. She lived in the Oxford Orion area all of her life.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents Vivian (Lambertson) and Ronald Douglas, her first husband Donald K. Pearce,  her second husband Richard A. Robinson and her grandson Joel.  She is survived by her 6 children Matt (Maria), Allan, Rick, Geri (Jim), Ann (Kelly) and Joe (Silvia).  She is also survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Chris, Josh, John, Ashley, Kelsey, Teasha, Haley, Makayla, Jesse, Olivia, Korie and many great grandchildren.

Karen was a 1961 graduate of Oxford High School and a graduate of the McCauley School of Practical Nursing program in 1962.  She worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital of Pontiac and Wheelock Memorial of Goodrich. She also worked at K-Mart in Lake Orion in the Sporting Goods and Automotive departments for 28 years.   She loved meeting and helping customers and made many friendships with her coworkers over the years. She loved to cook and enjoyed cooking the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for her family for many years.  She also loved to go camping.

Karen was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11 am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 4-7pm at the funeral home
