Karolyn Kay Apple; of Pontiac; age 76; peacefully passed away at home on December 22, 2021. Karolyn was the loving mother of Kimberly (Greg) Phillips, Tammy (Elmer) Austin, Laurie (Mario) Apple and Anthony (Ellen) Apple; Loving grandma "Grams" to Amber, Steven, Chloe, Gabriella, E'LeeAnna, Oliver, Myles, EJ, David, Crystal, Caitlyn, Katie, Tina, Michelle, Roger and Andy; great grandma to Madison, Maleah, Mitchell, Rylee, Elmer IV, David, Raymond, Mason, Landon, Scarlett, Skyler, Serenidy, Brandy, Treymall, Ray'Dee, Samajrea, Brenden, Madison; and great- great grandma to Selene; She is also survived by her brother James Ledger; several loving nieces; nephews; and friends. Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Ledger; brothers Donald Ledger and William Ledger; and her sister Jacquelyn Nichols. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel.
