Katherine Margo Goltz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katherine Margo Goltz, who left this world on November 28, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on July 15, 1946, Katherine was a beacon of love, generosity, and strength to all who knew her.

Kathie was the cherished mother of Ward Goltz Jr., Grant P. Goltz, and Eric Goltz; and the proud grandmother of Kiana, Kyrstin, Mackenzie, and Kyle. Known affectionately as "Mom" to many others, Kathie’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching countless lives with her kindness and warmth.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Peter and Lemone Kostarell; and sister Diana (Paul) Moseley. Kathie's memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and the many individuals who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Kathie’s remarkable life will be held on December 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 317 West Clarkston Road, Lake Orion, Michigan, 48362. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the legacy of a woman who gave so much to so many.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Kathie’s memory, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others. Kathie will be deeply missed, but her love and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
